Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to JIMR: Journal of Interdisciplinary Management Research will undergo a rigorous and objective double-blind peer review process to ensure the academic quality and integrity of published articles.
1. Initial Screening

Upon submission, the editorial team will conduct an initial screening to evaluate:

Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

Adherence to author guidelines and formatting

Plagiarism check (maximum similarity allowed: 20%)

Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements will be returned to the authors without external review.
2. Double-Blind Review

Eligible manuscripts will be sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

Both the authors’ and reviewers’ identities are kept confidential to ensure objectivity.

Reviewers will assess the manuscript based on:

Originality and novelty

Theoretical and practical contribution

Research methodology and data analysis

Clarity and coherence of writing

Accuracy and adequacy of references

3. Review Outcomes
Each reviewer will provide one of the following recommendations:

Accept without revision
-
Accept with minor revisions
-
Revise and resubmit (major revisions)

Reject
4. Revision Process

If revisions are required, authors will be given time to revise and resubmit their manuscript along with a point-by-point response to the reviewers’ comments.

Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the original reviewers for re-evaluation.
5. Final Decision

The final decision to accept or reject the manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief or Section Editor, based on the reviewers’ recommendations and overall quality of the manuscript.

Authors will be notified of the decision via email and through the journal’s submission system.
6. Publication

Accepted manuscripts will proceed to copyediting, layout formatting, and proofreading before being published in the upcoming issue.
