Publication Ethics

JIMR: Journal of Interdisciplinary Management Research is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures to prevent any publication malpractice. The journal adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects authors, reviewers, and editors to follow ethical behavior throughout the publication process.

1. Duties of Authors

  • Authors must ensure that their work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal.

  • Proper citation and acknowledgment of sources are mandatory. Plagiarism in any form is unethical and unacceptable.

  • All authors must have significantly contributed to the research and should agree on the final version submitted.

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest or financial support related to the research.

  • If errors or inaccuracies are discovered after publication, authors are expected to promptly notify the journal to correct or retract the paper.

2. Duties of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the manuscript's academic merit, relevance, originality, clarity, and alignment with the journal’s scope.

  • Editors must ensure a fair, unbiased, and confidential peer review process.

  • Editors must not use unpublished materials disclosed in submitted manuscripts for their own research without the author’s explicit written consent.

  • Editors will act on any reported ethical concerns regarding submitted or published papers, including plagiarism, data fabrication, or authorship disputes.

3. Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of the manuscript.

  • Reviewers should identify any potential ethical issues such as plagiarism or data falsification and report them to the editor.

  • Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use information from the review process for personal advantage.

  • Reviewers should declare any potential conflicts of interest and decline to review if one exists.

4. Plagiarism and Misconduct

  • All submissions are checked for plagiarism using appropriate tools.

  • Any form of plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication of data is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate rejection or retraction of the article.

  • Authors found to have violated ethical standards may be banned from future submissions.
