Publication Ethics
Hubula: International Proceeding on Interdisciplinary Studies is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and to ensuring the integrity of the academic record. Our ethical guidelines are based on the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must ensure that their work is original, properly cited, and free from plagiarism.

All authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and approved the final manuscript.

Simultaneous submissions to other journals or proceedings are not permitted.

Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

Data and methods must be accurately presented and available for verification if requested.
2. Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for fair and unbiased manuscript evaluation based solely on academic merit.

Editors must ensure a transparent and timely peer-review process.

Editors must maintain confidentiality of submitted materials and author identities.

Editors must take appropriate action when ethical complaints or misconduct are reported.
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively and provide constructive feedback.

Reviewers must respect confidentiality and not use any information obtained during the review for personal advantage.

Reviewers must declare any conflict of interest and decline to review if necessary.
4. Plagiarism and Misconduct

All submissions are checked for plagiarism using reliable similarity detection tools.

Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% (excluding references) may be rejected or returned for revision.

Hubula reserves the right to retract published articles in cases of proven academic misconduct, such as plagiarism, falsification, or unethical research.
5. Retraction and Correction Policy

Articles may be retracted for serious ethical violations or errors that invalidate findings.

Minor corrections (e.g., author name, affiliations, formatting) will be published as errata.

Retraction notices will be clearly identified and linked to the original article.
6. Licensing and Copyright

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Authors retain copyright and grant Hubula the right to publish the work.
